Layna Dawson is an artist on a journey of self discovery within the music industry. Songwriting is more than just words on paper, it is about telling a story. Layna has been sharing her stories since she was seven years old, when she wrote her first song. 

With her foundation in theatre at a young age, Layna has been entertaining audiences for years. At nine years old, she won a Monty Award for Best Featured Actress in a musical in Montgomery County, TX. For Layna, the award was all about her ability to bring a little magic to the stage and hopefully create entertainment for the theatre patrons.

Over the years, she has brought real life experiences to life through her music and hopes others can relate. Everytime Layna steps on stage her goal is to connect with her audience and bring joy to them through music and entertainment.
